NarrateNow is a simple tool that converts web pages into audio, built on the idea that written content should be available to anyone, including the people who would rather listen to it.
Why I built this
Most visitors skim. They open a page, read the first few paragraphs, and move on. Usually it has nothing to do with the quality of the writing; they are commuting, cooking, walking, or simply not in the mood to read a screen.
Audio changes that. It lets people take your content on their own terms, hands-free and eyes-free. Getting there has traditionally meant recording equipment, editing software, and hours of production per page. I wanted a way to make writing listenable without running a podcast operation alongside it, so I built NarrateNow.
You add one script tag and every page gets an audio player. The audio is generated automatically, cached for fast delivery, and embedded directly on your pages, then keeps working without further attention from you.

How it works, briefly
NarrateNow is a hosted service. You embed a lightweight JavaScript snippet on your website. When a visitor opens a page, our script detects the content, sends it to our audio generation pipeline, and serves a player inline on the page. Generated audio is cached so subsequent visits load instantly.
We handle the infrastructure behind that: audio generation, storage, delivery, and player rendering. You stay focused on the writing.
